Most questions about the app are answered here. If yours isn’t, write to us. If you need more than help with the app, Get support now is at the bottom of this page.

Write to us

Write to hi@stilldad.me. Say which iPhone you have, which version of iOS it runs and what happened. A person reads every email.

Don’t send what you’ve written in Still Dad, or screenshots of it, unless you want us to see it. We never need it to help.

Your subscription

  • To cancel or change plan, open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
  • If you’ve subscribed and Still Dad still shows its plans, tap Restore purchases under them. Use the Apple Account you subscribed with.
  • Apple takes the payment and handles refunds. To ask for one, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • When a subscription ends, nothing is deleted. Still Dad opens to its plans, and from there you can still save a backup.

Moving to a new iPhone

Still Dad has no account, so what you keep moves with your iPhone’s own backup or with a backup you save from the app.

  • If you set up the new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one, Still Dad’s data comes with it.
  • Or, on the old iPhone, open Today, tap the gear, then Backup & restore, and tap Save a backup. Move the file to the new iPhone, open the same screen there and tap Choose a backup.

A saved backup isn’t password protected, so keep it somewhere private.

App lock

App lock uses Face ID, Touch ID or your iPhone’s passcode. If Face ID doesn’t recognise you, enter your passcode. You can turn it on or off in Settings, under App lock.

Handover reminders

Still Dad reminds you the evening before and the morning of each handover if you turn on Remind me before handovers when you add your schedule. If they don’t arrive, check that notifications are allowed for Still Dad in iPhone Settings, and that a Focus isn’t holding them back.
