Terms and conditions
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Rightech Ltd (“we”, “us”), the maker of Still Dad. They cover the app and this website. Please read them with the privacy policy.
About these terms
Apple’s standard licence for apps, the Licensed Application End User License Agreement, also applies to Still Dad. It covers your licence to use the app on your Apple devices, and the Terms of Use link in the app opens it. Where Apple’s licence and these terms say different things about the app, Apple’s licence applies.
What Still Dad is
Still Dad is an iPhone app for separated fathers. It helps you plan your time with your children, keep what you don’t want to forget, and read practical guides.
It isn’t therapy, medical advice or legal advice, and it isn’t an emergency service. The guides are general. For advice about your own situation, talk to a qualified professional, such as a doctor, counsellor or lawyer.
If you or someone else is in danger, call your local emergency number now. Find A Helpline lists free helplines worldwide at findahelpline.com.
The log
The log is a record you keep for yourself. We can’t promise that a court, mediator or lawyer will accept it or rely on it. If you might need records for a case, ask a lawyer how to keep them.
Your subscription
Still Dad needs a subscription. Without one, the app opens to its plans, where you can still export a backup, read the privacy policy and find support.
- There are two plans, monthly and yearly, and both include all of Still Dad. In the US they cost $7.99 a month and $59.99 a year. Elsewhere, the App Store shows the price where you are.
- The yearly plan may start with a free trial. The App Store shows how long it is before you confirm, and Apple decides who is eligible.
- Apple charges your Apple Account when you confirm, or when the free trial ends.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.
- Apple handles refunds. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- If we change the price, Apple will tell you before the new price applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
- If your subscription ends, nothing you’ve kept is deleted. It stays in the app on your iPhone, and you can still export it.
What you keep is yours
Everything you keep in Still Dad is yours. We don’t receive it, so we can’t recover it if your iPhone is lost, reset or replaced. Export a backup from time to time and keep it somewhere safe.
You’re responsible for what you keep in the app and for anything you choose to share from it.
Using Still Dad
You may use Still Dad and this website for your own, personal use. The app, its guides, its artwork, its design and the name Still Dad belong to us. Please don’t copy, sell or adapt them, or try to take the app apart. Sharing a guide with someone from the app, or a link to this website, is fine.
Other services
Still Dad relies on Apple for the App Store, payments and iOS features such as Face ID, notifications and backups, and Apple’s terms cover those. The app and this website also point to helplines and other organisations we don’t run. We aren’t responsible for their services.
If something goes wrong
We work to keep Still Dad reliable, and we’ll fix faults as soon as we reasonably can. We can’t promise it will always work without them.
We’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it’s obvious it will happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you started your subscription. We aren’t responsible for loss that isn’t foreseeable.
Still Dad is for personal use, so we aren’t responsible for any loss of profit, business or business opportunity. We aren’t responsible for losing what you keep in the app if a backup would have prevented it.
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Nothing here affects your legal rights as a consumer.
Stopping
You can stop using Still Dad at any time. Cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings, export a backup if you want one, and delete the app to remove its data from your iPhone.
If we ever stop offering Still Dad, we’ll give you as much notice as we can, and you’ll still be able to export what you’ve kept.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app, our business or the law changes. We’ll post the new version here with a new date at the top. If a change significantly affects you, an app update will tell you before it takes effect, and you can cancel your subscription if you don’t accept it.
Problems and contact
If something’s wrong, write to hi@stilldad.me and we’ll try to put it right. This doesn’t affect your legal rights, including any right to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
